Town to keep me movin', keep me groovin' with some energy
Well, I talk about it, talk about it, talk about it, talk about it
Talk about it, talk about it, talk about movin'
Gotta move on, gotta move on, gotta move on, gotta move on …
Well, last weekend's trip to Vancouver was surprizingly short. Left 'round four; made it to Bard on the Beach at 8:20-ish (or twenty minutes late); slept; checked out a bridge my brother worked on for the Sea to Sky Highway; hung out with Chris; started back at 3:30. So less than twenty hours in the city, including sleeping. A busy twenty hours, yes, but that's not much.
Good thing I'll be going back on Thursday. :)
It was a good trip, though, especially seeing Chris. It turns out he wasn't there the last time I was in Vancouver because he was participating in the soccer-tournament portion of some sort of international disabled sports competition down in Connecticut. He regaled me with stories of living in Japan, his Korean girlfriend he met over there in a sports bar, and basically impressed on me that other people have vastly more interesting lives than me. :)
The only other thing to comment on is that we return to Kamloops late; the Coquihalla highway was closed north of Merritt due to a forest fire. We were able to take highway 5A instead, which gave us the opportunity to eat at a restaurant in Quilchenna, but instead of getting back around 7:30 or 8:00, we arrived after ten.
And that's it from me. *bows*
